39th AES International Conference Audio Forensics – Practices and Challenges
Hillerød, Denmark: To be held from 17-19 June 2010 at the Pharmakon Conference Center, Hillerød, near Copenhagen, the AES 39th International Conference will be dedicated to the field of audio forensics, exploring its history, current practices, and future challenges. The conference will address issues such as audio recording, speech and signal processing and analysis, as well as the problems associated with perceptual encoding techniques and the widespread availability of inexpensive, easy-to-use editing and manipulation software.
Consequently, the organizing committee is now calling for papers in the fields of forensic processing and analysis of recordings, detection of forgeries and alterations, speech enhancement, and voice identification, proposals for which should be submitted to the AES website at www.aes.org/events/39 more
