Suria FM Notices The Difference That Jünger Audio Makes

As part of its commitment to give listeners the best quality audio possible, Malaysian radio station Suria FM has installed a Jünger Audio D07 two-channel digital transmission processor at its main transmission site. The unit was supplied and installed by Jünger Audio’s Malaysian distributor, Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup.

The Kuala Lumpur-based broadcaster is operated by Rimamakmur SDN BHD, a company owned by Star Publications. It broadcasts in Malay and offers listeners a wide selection of contemporary music on a 24 hours a day basis.

Technical Supervisor Shahariman Abdul Shah says: “We needed to improve the quality of our audio output from our transmitter site, which is equipped with an Eddystone Transmitter. The Jünger Audio D07 unit had proved to be the ideal solution. Since its installation our broadcasts sound much better and we are very happy with the results we are achieving.

Specifically designed to optimize program signals for FM broadcast and TV transmission, Jünger Audio’s D07 units incorporate the company’s renowned LEVEL MAGIC™ system. This series of automated Level and Loudness control devices adjusts the level from any source at any time, with no pumping, breathing or distortion. It works by simultaneously combining an AGC, a Transient Processor for fast changes and a “look ahead Peak Limiter for continuous unattended control of any program material, regardless of its original source.
