AES 131ST Convention Calls for Broadcast/Streaming Proposals
NEW YORK: Continuing a successful initiative launched in 2009, AES 131st Convention Broadcast/Media Streaming Chair David Bialik has issued an RFP to industry members for recommendations on broadcast-related issues or technical innovations, for event consideration. The convention will be held Oct. 20-23 at New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center.
“With 25+ years of AES Conventions under my belt I’ve got a pretty good handle on the types of events our attendees find most beneficial to enhancing their job performance,” Bialik remarked. “That being said, I have also seen the benefits of maintaining an open line of communications with our audience. We have already formulated a tentative program of Broadcast and Media Streaming events, but we would consider additional panels if worthwhile suggestions are introduced. We are particularly interested in hearing from experts in Media Streaming, high and low-end Internet TV, Radio, Satellite, and digital innovation.” more
