BASEL, SWITZERLAND: Dirk Noy, Walters-Storyk Design Group partner and European GM, has announced the opening of new offices in Cologne, Germany and Barcelona, Spain.

Carlo Fickler, a WSDG team-member since 2006, will lead the Cologne branch. An expert in architectural acoustics and audio/visual technology integration, Fickler will concentrate his energies on existing projects and on expanding the firms’ client base on the Continent. Fickler completed the interdisciplinary program in audio and video technology at the University of Applied Sciences and Robert-Schumann-College of Music Duesseldorf in 2004. Following a year as an assistant recording engineer in NYC, and some freelance work as a sound engineer in Germany, he joined WSDG in Basel Switzerland in 2006.

WSDG’s Cologne branch is equipped with a full complement of advanced measurement equipment and software tools to analyze all room, structural and electro acoustical issues. Dynamics processing manufacturer Jünger Audio has boosted its international sales team by appointing two sales representatives, Christoph Harm and Jochen Wainwright.

Christoph Harm joins the company from Riedel Communications where he held the position of International Sales Manager with responsibility for the sales of all Riedel products and for generating new business. He will now be based at Jünger Audio’s Berlin office and will be responsible for sales across a number of territories including Italy, BeNeLux, the Middle East, Central Asia, parts of Africa and India. more
