This IP based unit offers 8 digital inputs, 8 analog inputs, 8 contact closures and critically, supports the Scripteasy software suite enabling broadcast engineers to benefit from the extensive scripting, telemetry and SNMP technology for which Audemat is renowned. Analog inputs can be used to monitor audio levels and the unit, as an option, can store audio files to serve as back-up. The WorldCast Astral, the latest addition to APT’s highly acclaimed and award-winning WorldCast IP series, will be the industry’s first IP codec to also offer remote control capabilities and audio back-up from a streaming server.
