Middle Atlantic Introduces Sit Stand Functionality for ViewPoint™ Consoles


Middle Atlantic Products is introducing new height-adjustable Sit/Stand functionality for its family of ViewPoint™ consoles and technical furniture. Sit/Stand lift system functionality promotes proper ergonomics for healthy work environments, and is now available pre-installed in welded ViewPoint console bays or as a standalone work station model.

These new models feature three convenient pre-set height settings for fatigue elimination and increased user comfort, especially in multi-shift environments. The Sit/Stand lift legs do not intrude in equipment mounting bays, leaving the full console bay width available for equipment. Quick shipment is possible with a 3-week standard lead time, the same offered for all standard ViewPoint orders.

Available in the same variety of finishes as the complete ViewPoint system, the availability of new Sit/Stand models expands the line to make an offering that is ideal and flexible for a number of situations and uses.

Middle Atlantic Unveils Mobile Videoconference Display System

In a move to provide unparalleled support for the technology powering today’s AV systems, Middle Atlantic Products announced the new VTC Series Mobile Videoconferencing & Presentation Cart System at the 2013 NAB Show. Designed with generous equipment mounting space, the VTC Series is a versatile mobile cart system for broadcast floor monitoring, videoconferencing and presentation applications.

The VTC Series was engineered with industry-leading screen capacity, supporting single screens up to 80” or dual large screens up to 70” built to support up to 250 lbs in screen weight. Its welded steel frame is UL Listed, tip and weight tested.

Versatile equipment mounting is made possible throughout every area of the VTC Series, which was designed with up to 15 total rackspaces. The cart was designed with the company’s patent-pending Lever Lock™ tool-free mounting system. The Lever Lock plate, ideal for Codecs, media extenders, power supplies and other small devices, is easy to install and service.

The VTC cart’s base features rackmount space for heavier components, such as UPS systems that offer point of use protection. The lower frame provides 4 rackspaces that are ideal mounting for switchers and processors, and can accommodate tower-style PCs.

Several options greatly increase the versatility of the VTC Series. A removable 12 space rack frame option is available, and allows for easy pre-staging, integration and maintenance access. Also available are storage drawer, work surface and speaker shelf options.

Gold Named As Middle Atlantic Midwest Regional Sales Manager

Middle Atlantic Products has named Adam Gold as Midwest Regional Sales Manager. Gold’s territory includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri for all market segments.

Adam has over 20 years of experience in Audio, Video, Control, Automation and Lighting for both the Commercial AV and Residential markets. Prior to joining Middle Atlantic, he worked with security start-up ACI Protection as a National Sales Manager and served as Regional Sales Manager for Crestron, Bose and Mitsubishi after starting in AV retail sales.

Asked about his appointment, Gold stated, “Middle Atlantic has a culture like no other manufacturer and it’s really nice to work for a company where the focus is on customer satisfaction and achieving that result by doing whatever it takes. That’s what excites me the most about this opportunity.”

Middle Atlantic Appoints Bromberg As Western Regional Sales Manager

Middle Atlantic Products has appointed David Bromberg as Regional Sales Manager for the Western Region. Bromberg’s territory includes Southern California and Southern Nevada for all market segments and Arizona for Residential, Security and DataComm channels.

Prior to Middle Atlantic, Bromberg was Senior Business Development Manager and Senior Account Manager specializing in local and national Government Sales for TESSCO and Commscope, as well as Global Government Sales Manager at The Siemon Company where he opened up the company’s Federal Division.

Bromberg educational background includes an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziado School of Business and Management and a BA from California State University, Long Beach.

“Middle Atlantic is one of the most challenging starting positions at any of the companies I’ve worked for,” said Bromberg. “It’s been an awesome experience so far, like working with family. The culture, the people, and the response I’m getting from customers are unlike anything I’ve seen before.”

Middle Atlantic Names Vergano VP of Human Resources

Fairfield, NJ––Middle Atlantic Products has appointed Peter Vergano as Vice President of Human Resources, reporting to President Mike Baker. In this newly created post, Vergano will oversee all elements of HR as the company continues to grow since joining the Legrand North America organization.

Vergano joins Middle Atlantic after nearly seven years at Samsung Electronics, most recently as a Senior HR Business Partner Leader in the company’s Ridgefield Park facilities. He graduated from West Virginia University with a BS in Business Administration and also earned an MBA from Centenary College.

Asked about Vergano’s appointment, Mike Baker stated, “We are entering a new phase of very aggressive growth and opportunity for Middle Atlantic. Our continued investment in people, both those who are already here and the new positions we are creating, will ultimately determine our long-term success. Middle Atlantic Debuts Quiet, Powerful Thermal Management Options

Fairfield, NJ––Middle Atlantic Products is introducing two new quiet, powerful options for effective thermal management of heat-producing equipment and the smaller spaces they occupy.

Built to remove heat from credenzas, lecterns and entertainment centers, the new 50 CFM Cabinet Cooler is the first blower-style option available to the market that provides a free air rating as high as 50 CFM. Middle Atlantic Releases Designer™ Version 4.0

Free 3D Design Program Features New Layout Capabilities

Fairfield, NJ––Middle Atlantic Products has updated its Designer™ 3D layout and specification software to include new product groups, enabling more complete room configurations. In addition to consoles and video walls, Designer can now facilitate the placement of MRK Series racks and C5 Series Credenza Racks in room layouts, giving a more fully furnished visualization of a potential installed system.

With over 8,000 users, Designer software has quickly become an ideal solution for specifiers and installers to easily design a 3D room layout. The free program, available for download on Middle Atlantic’s website, produces full color room layouts with guidance for optimal furniture placement via its built-in line of sight tool. Designs can be exported to CAD and include retail price quotes to assist with the system specification process.
