GP Marketing Awarded Broadcast Rep of the Year

GP Marketing won the Broadcast Rep of the Year Award at the Middle Atlantic sales meeting prior to InfoComm 2014.

Based in Redmond, Washington, GP Marketing represents Middle Atlantic Products for the Broadcast market in Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Oklahoma and Montana.

Commenting on the award, Middle Atlantic Broadcast Sales Manager Dave Amoscato said, “The main thing that made GP Marketing successful was really focusing on the marketplace and driving business from the end user to the sale. Tracy Named To New Post in Middle Atlantic Growth Strategy

Fairfield, NJ––Mark Tracy has been appointed to the newly created role of Vice President Strategic Business and Market Development for Middle Atlantic Products and the Commercial AV division of Legrand North America. Led by the Middle Atlantic brand, Legrand Commercial AV offers foundational infrastructure products to installing contractors, including Wiremold wire and cable management solutions and C2G cable assemblies.

Part of an aggressive growth strategy for the company, this and related moves are intended to provide customers with the widest range of products and new technologies to improve system reliability and facilitate installations, and maintain the exceptional level of quality and support for which Middle Atlantic is known.

Working closely with company president Mike Baker, Tracy will be responsible for supporting growth for Middle Atlantic and Legrand Commercial AV through the addition of new products, businesses and the development of new market applications and channels.

Tracy will also represent Middle Atlantic and Legrand Commercial AV in key industry groups and work to evolve the company’s value proposition to an ever-expanding customer base to build complementary business alliances and identify, facilitate and integrate strategic acquisitions.

In a simultaneous move, Tim Troast has been appointed to the position of Director of Product Management for Middle Atlantic in charge of New Product Development and Product Line Management.

Commenting on the new appointments, Baker said, “Mark’s extensive product and market knowledge, 20 years of building relationships within the AV community and grasp of today’s technology perfectly position him to help us in developing a successful overall strategy to grow our business.

Troast Joins Middle Atlantic Product Development Team

Middle Atlantic Unveils Mobile Videoconference Display System

In a move to provide unparalleled support for the technology powering today’s AV systems, Middle Atlantic Products announced the new VTC Series Mobile Videoconferencing & Presentation Cart System at the 2013 NAB Show. Designed with generous equipment mounting space, the VTC Series is a versatile mobile cart system for broadcast floor monitoring, videoconferencing and presentation applications.

The VTC Series was engineered with industry-leading screen capacity, supporting single screens up to 80” or dual large screens up to 70” built to support up to 250 lbs in screen weight. Its welded steel frame is UL Listed, tip and weight tested.

Versatile equipment mounting is made possible throughout every area of the VTC Series, which was designed with up to 15 total rackspaces. The cart was designed with the company’s patent-pending Lever Lock™ tool-free mounting system. Gold Named As Middle Atlantic Midwest Regional Sales Manager

Middle Atlantic Products has named Adam Gold as Midwest Regional Sales Manager. Gold’s territory includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri for all market segments.

Adam has over 20 years of experience in Audio, Video, Control, Automation and Lighting for both the Commercial AV and Residential markets. Prior to joining Middle Atlantic, he worked with security start-up ACI Protection as a National Sales Manager and served as Regional Sales Manager for Crestron, Bose and Mitsubishi after starting in AV retail sales.

Middle Atlantic Appoints Bromberg As Western Regional Sales Manager

Middle Atlantic Products has appointed David Bromberg as Regional Sales Manager for the Western Region. Bromberg’s territory includes Southern California and Southern Nevada for all market segments and Arizona for Residential, Security and DataComm channels.

Prior to Middle Atlantic, Bromberg was Senior Business Development Manager and Senior Account Manager specializing in local and national Government Sales for TESSCO and Commscope, as well as Global Government Sales Manager at The Siemon Company where he opened up the company’s Federal Division.

Bromberg educational background includes an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziado School of Business and Management and a BA from California State University, Long Beach.

“Middle Atlantic is one of the most challenging starting positions at any of the companies I’ve worked for,” said Bromberg. “It’s been an awesome experience so far, like working with family. The culture, the people, and the response I’m getting from customers are unlike anything I’ve seen before.”

Middle Atlantic Names Vergano VP of Human Resources

Fairfield, NJ––Middle Atlantic Products has appointed Peter Vergano as Vice President of Human Resources, reporting to President Mike Baker. In this newly created post, Vergano will oversee all elements of HR as the company continues to grow since joining the Legrand North America organization.

Vergano joins Middle Atlantic after nearly seven years at Samsung Electronics, most recently as a Senior HR Business Partner Leader in the company’s Ridgefield Park facilities. He graduated from West Virginia University with a BS in Business Administration and also earned an MBA from Centenary College.

Asked about Vergano’s appointment, Mike Baker stated, “We are entering a new phase of very aggressive growth and opportunity for Middle Atlantic. Our continued investment in people, both those who are already here and the new positions we are creating, will ultimately determine our long-term success.
