Sennheiser to Co-Sponsor Nashville-Based Charity Event, “Music City Gives Back,” in Wake of Recent Storms

OLD LYME, Conn. – June 3, 2011: Audio specialist Sennheiser announced that it is a co-sponsor of “Music City Gives Back,” a free concert event that will take place in downtown Nashville on Tuesday, June 7. Headlined by country star Rodney Atkins, the concert kicks off a week of music, fun and giving sponsored by Sennheiser, Carl Black Chevrolet, Coca Cola, Crown Royal, GAC, Tempus Jets and WSIX. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, directed through the Nashville CVB foundation Music City, Inc. more

Sennheiser’s MK4 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone Hits Sweet Spot with Nashville-Based Producer Rogers Masson

Nashville, TN – May 16, 2011: Audio manufacturer Sennheiser launched its first side address, large diaphragm condenser microphone during the NAMM show last January. The microphone, which is manufactured in Germany and suitable for a wide range of recording and broadcast applications, was widely praised for its versatility, workmanship and pricepoint, which is just $299 street.

Recently, Rogers Masson — a Nashville-based producer / mixer / engineer — used the Sennheiser MK4 while recording a publishing demo for Josh Brown, lead singer of Grammy nominated rock band Day of Fire. Masson, who does mixing and overdub work out of his home studio dubbed the Rog Mahal, works within a wide spectrum of musical genres and has worked with everyone from The Mavericks to Marilyn Manson. Myers’ Team Contributes to a Successful PBS Technical Conference
